How our office reaches out to candidates

Most months we’ll send out a newsletter to check in with teachers. We aim to let you know what’s happening in the international school recruiting space and offer helpful articles to assist you with your job search. We are also active on Facebook and respond to questions there. Most of the time we answer questions via email. In our correspondence, we advise teachers to contact us if they have any questions or concerns. No matter the question, we would rather you ask us than be concerned about something.

When should you reach out to us?

If you are offered a position

Please get in touch to run the offer by Nick. He is more than happy to read over the contract before you sign.

If you have a new position

We suggest checking in to let us know how you are going with relocation and settling in. We appreciate hearing how schools are onboarding their new teachers. We work closely with schools, but there is no substitute for receiving first-hand information from candidates who are “on the ground” as we can store this information and pass it on to other candidates when they express an interest in a school. Of course, any information shared will be done so anonymously.

At the end of a position

We really appreciate any feedback about your school that you think would be helpful to others. Our associates share this information confidentially with each other so that we are better able to build a complete picture of a school. Educators, boards, etc change over time, so we try to have up-to-date information on our 700 + schools. This input also helps others.

“Deidre’s diverse experience in leadership makes her understand key aspects of school life, culture, and community. Her insights on what to prioritize when looking for a potential school and how it will impact my career informed my decisions on which school to join. She has exemplary coaching skills, so during our conversations, she made a lot of valid points that allowed me to weigh my options and consider what was best for me. So grateful being able to connect with Deidre in my search for a new school.” Tina
